LuxDating is a New Zealand-based dating platform. LuxDating provides online features that allow eligible users to create profiles, complete identity or age verification, view potential matches, use tokens, purchase membership, complete icebreaker questions, and communicate with other users.
LuxDating may be promoted in New Zealand and selected international locations. LuxDating is not guaranteed to be available in every country, region, or territory. We may restrict, suspend, or block access from certain countries or users at our discretion, including for legal, safety, payment, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
LuxDating is strictly for users aged 18 years or older. By creating an account or using the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to use dating services in your location.
If we believe a user is under 18, has supplied false age information, has uploaded false or misleading ID material, or is attempting to bypass age or identity verification, we may suspend, restrict, or permanently delete the account without refund, except where a refund is required by law.
If you access LuxDating from outside New Zealand, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of LuxDating complies with the laws, rules, and regulations that apply in your country, state, province, or region.
You must not use LuxDating from any location where dating platforms, online messaging, ID verification, photo sharing, paid dating features, or any LuxDating feature is unlawful or restricted in a way that makes your use illegal.
LuxDating is operated from New Zealand. These Terms are governed by New Zealand law where legally permitted. Some countries may give you rights that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree that all information you provide to LuxDating is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading. This includes your age, location, gender, seeking preferences, photos, identity information, payment details, and any profile or messaging content.
You must not create an account for another person, impersonate another person, use fake identity documents, upload stolen photos, use AI-generated images to misrepresent your identity, or create multiple accounts to avoid moderation or enforcement action.
LuxDating may require identity or age verification before allowing access to certain features, including membership, tokens, matching, messaging, photo previews, private photos, or other account features.
Verification may include requesting ID images, selfie images, age-related information, or other checks. Submitting verification does not guarantee approval. LuxDating may approve, reject, request further information, restrict, suspend, or delete an account if verification appears false, incomplete, suspicious, unsafe, or non-compliant.
Identity or age verification is used to reduce fake profiles and improve platform safety. It is not a criminal background check and does not guarantee that another user is safe, honest, single, compatible, or suitable for you.
LuxDating is intended for genuine dating and meaningful introductions between consenting adults. LuxDating does not guarantee that you will receive matches, messages, dates, relationships, or any particular outcome.
Matching, profile visibility, chat access, photo access, and other features may depend on your membership status, token balance, verification status, user preferences, safety settings, moderation status, and platform availability.
You must not use LuxDating for:
You are responsible for your own interactions with other users, both online and offline. LuxDating cannot control what users say, do, or represent outside the platform.
If you choose to meet another user in person, you do so at your own risk. We strongly recommend meeting in a public place, telling someone you trust where you are going, arranging your own transport, not sharing private financial information, and reporting suspicious behaviour.
LuxDating may review reports, chats, images, profiles, verification materials, token activity, membership activity, and platform behaviour where required for moderation, safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or support.
You retain ownership of content you upload, including profile text, answers, photos, and private photos. By uploading content, you grant LuxDating a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, display, watermark, moderate, and use that content for operating and improving the LuxDating platform.
LuxDating may blur, watermark, restrict, hide, remove, review, or moderate uploaded images. Photo protection tools are designed to improve privacy, but they cannot guarantee that screenshots, screen recording, external camera capture, copying, misuse, or unauthorised sharing will never occur.
You must not screenshot, copy, download, record, distribute, publish, sell, repost, or misuse another user’s photos, messages, identity material, or private information.
LuxDating may offer paid membership, tokens, and paid platform features. Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars unless stated otherwise.
Membership gives access to membership-based features for the stated membership period. Tokens may be used for token-based features such as selected previews, membership activation, or other paid functions shown on the platform.
Bank-transfer orders are only activated after the full cleared NZD amount is received and approved. International users are responsible for any bank fees, intermediary bank fees, currency conversion costs, payment delays, or short payments caused by their bank or payment provider.
LuxDating may refuse, cancel, or delay an order if the payment reference is missing, the amount received is incorrect, the payment is suspicious, the user is not verified, the account is restricted, or the order breaches these Terms.
Tokens are generally non-refundable once allocated to your account or used for platform features. Membership payments are generally non-refundable once activated. This includes where you are dissatisfied with matches, do not receive a preferred number of matches, do not receive replies, change your mind, fail to use the service, or are removed for breaching these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, repair, replacement, or other remedy that you are legally entitled to under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, Fair Trading Act, or any other consumer law that applies and cannot be excluded.
LuxDating does not guarantee compatibility, relationship success, user honesty, user availability, user safety, response rates, matches, introductions, dates, or any particular outcome.
Matching tools, profile filters, icebreaker questions, photo locks, and timers are platform features only. They are not professional advice, psychological assessment, background screening, identity guarantee, safety guarantee, or relationship guarantee.
LuxDating may suspend, restrict, deactivate, delete, or refuse service to any account at any time if we believe the account breaches these Terms, creates safety risk, is fake, is underage, is involved in prohibited conduct, is connected with fraud or abuse, or may expose LuxDating or other users to legal, safety, reputational, payment, or operational risk.
We may remove content, hide profiles, block messages, cancel orders, reject verification, restrict photo access, freeze token use, or take other action to protect the platform and users.
Users can report suspicious, abusive, unsafe, fake, scam-related, or prohibited behaviour to LuxDating. We may review available account information, profile data, messages, uploaded content, verification records, and payment records when investigating reports.
We are not required to disclose moderation decisions, internal risk checks, user reports, verification methods, or enforcement reasons where doing so may affect safety, privacy, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or platform security.
Your use of LuxDating is also governed by our Privacy Policy. LuxDating may collect and process information including profile details, photos, private photos, identity or age verification material, selfies, messages, icebreaker answers, token and membership records, device information, security logs, and support communications.
LuxDating uses third-party technology providers, including cloud hosting and database services. Information may be stored, processed, or accessed outside New Zealand where needed to operate the platform, support users, prevent fraud, moderate safety issues, or comply with legal obligations.
International users may have additional privacy rights depending on their country or region. Requests about access, correction, deletion, or privacy concerns can be sent to support@luxdating.co.nz.
LuxDating’s name, branding, design, logos, code, layout, features, text, systems, matching tools, and platform content are owned by or licensed to LuxDating and must not be copied, reproduced, reverse engineered, scraped, modified, resold, or used without written permission.
LuxDating is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, permanent availability, or that every feature will always work on every device, browser, location, or network.
LuxDating may update, change, suspend, remove, replace, or discontinue features at any time, including tokens, memberships, matching, verification, photo access, chat, or international availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LuxDating, its owners, directors, staff, contractors, service providers, and related parties are not liable for loss, harm, damage, injury, distress, emotional harm, financial loss, data loss, reputational loss, failed relationships, unsafe meetings, scams, user conduct, technical issues, unauthorised screenshots, or disputes arising from your use of the platform or interactions with other users.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, LuxDating’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify LuxDating against claims, losses, costs, damages, complaints, penalties, or legal expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the platform, unlawful conduct, uploaded content, interactions with other users, or violation of another person’s rights.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that part will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining parts will continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
LuxDating may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on the platform. Continued use of LuxDating after the Terms are updated means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand where legally permitted. You agree that disputes relating to LuxDating will be dealt with in New Zealand courts where legally permitted, unless another law gives you rights that cannot be excluded.
