This Privacy Policy applies when you visit LuxDating, create an account, complete identity or age verification, upload photos, buy tokens or membership, use matching features, answer icebreaker questions, send messages, contact support, or use any LuxDating feature.
LuxDating is based in New Zealand and may be used by eligible users in New Zealand and selected international locations.
LuxDating is strictly for users aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly allow users under 18 to use LuxDating. If we believe a user is under 18, has supplied false age information, or has attempted to bypass age or identity verification, we may suspend, restrict, or delete the account.

Verification information may be reviewed by authorised LuxDating staff or moderators for safety, fraud prevention, age checks, fake-profile prevention, and account approval. Submitting verification does not guarantee approval.
Verification information is sensitive and should only be uploaded through LuxDating’s authorised verification process. Users should not send ID documents or private verification material to other users.
LuxDating may store, display, blur, watermark, moderate, restrict, remove, or process uploaded photos for platform operation and safety. Public and private photos may be subject to access controls, timers, consent settings, token-based previews, or membership-based features.
Photo protection tools are intended to improve privacy, but no online system can fully prevent screenshots, screen recording, external camera capture, copying, or misuse by another user. Users must not copy, record, share, publish, sell, or misuse another person’s images or private information.
LuxDating may store chat messages, icebreaker answers, match records, unlock timers, consent records, and related interaction records. These may be reviewed where needed for safety, moderation, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or investigation of reports.
LuxDating is not a private encrypted messaging service. Users should not send sensitive financial information, passwords, banking details, identity documents, private addresses, or other high-risk personal information to other users.
LuxDating may collect and store payment-related records for bank-transfer orders, including order type, amount, currency, payment reference, order status, approval records, token amount, membership period, token balance, and membership expiry.
LuxDating does not currently ask users to enter card details on LuxDating for the bank-transfer payment process. International users may be required by their own bank to provide additional information when making overseas payments.
LuxDating uses technical and organisational measures to help protect user information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure. This includes using secure authentication, access controls, database permissions, storage permissions, and moderation/admin controls.
No online platform, database, email system, cloud service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Users are responsible for using strong passwords, keeping login details private, and reporting suspicious activity.
LuxDating uses third-party technology providers to operate the platform. This may include cloud hosting, authentication, database storage, file storage, security, email, analytics, support, and moderation tools.
LuxDating currently uses Firebase and Google-related services for parts of the platform, including account authentication, database services, and file storage. These providers may process information as part of delivering their services to LuxDating.
LuxDating is based in New Zealand, but information may be stored, processed, accessed, or backed up outside New Zealand by third-party technology providers or service providers used to operate LuxDating.
If personal information is disclosed, stored, or processed outside New Zealand, LuxDating will take reasonable steps required by applicable law to protect that information and to use service providers that apply privacy and security protections appropriate to their role.

Different types of information may be kept for different periods. For example, account data, payment/order records, moderation records, verification records, chat records, and safety records may have different retention periods depending on why the information is needed.

When an account is deleted, LuxDating may remove or deactivate profile visibility and access. Some records may remain in backups, logs, payment records, moderation records, or legal/safety records for a reasonable period where required or permitted.
LuxDating may use cookies, local storage, device data, browser data, analytics, and similar technologies to keep users logged in, remember settings, secure accounts, improve performance, detect abuse, and understand how the platform is used.
Users can adjust browser settings to block some cookies or storage, but this may affect site functionality.
Users are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping login details secure, not sharing another user’s private information, not sending financial or identity information to other users, reporting fake profiles or scams, and using LuxDating only if they are legally allowed to do so in their location.
If LuxDating becomes aware of a privacy or security incident affecting personal information, we will assess the issue and take steps that are reasonable and required by applicable law. This may include notifying affected users, regulators, or authorities where required.
LuxDating may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on the platform. Continued use of LuxDating after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
